Avila Golf & Country Club, one of Tampa's premier private country clubs, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall experience of our club facilities for members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of fitness equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and clean assigned areas throughout the facility.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, shower areas, and changing spaces.
• Restock supplies including towels, soap, tissues, and disinfectant products.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Keep storage areas organized, clean, and fully stocked.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or member complaints to management.
• Assist with additional housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, and reaching.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and tools.
• Visual attention to detail to ensure high cleanliness standards.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Indoor and outdoor work environments.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals; appropriate safety equipment will be provided.
• Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
